Dutch Football Club becomes Wiel Coerver Partner Club

Dutch Football Club becomes Wiel Coerver Partner Club

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Frisco, Texas June 2nd, 2023  – Coerver Partnership Press Release

Dutch FC announces it will become a Partner Club with world renowned Wiel Coerver Method. Wiel Coerver (1924–2011) was a renowned Dutch football coach best known for developing the "Coerver Method." The Coerver Method is a comprehensive coaching and training system used globally, primarily for teaching football skills to young players.

Coerver's approach prioritizes technical skills, emphasizing individual mastery and ball control, as well as the development of quick, accurate passing. The method is structured around the belief that any child, with effective coaching, can become adept with the ball and develop solid skills to a high level.

Coerver® Partner Club is a total Club Development Program powered by the World’s

Number 1 soccer skills teaching method with over one million players, parents, and coach participants in 47 countries over the last 39 years.

The Coerver Method is typically broken down into six building blocks: ball mastery, receiving and passing, moves (1v1), speed, finishing, and group play. Each of these elements contributes to the overall development of a player's technical skills and strategic understanding of football.

Ayman Boutari, the recently appointed Academy Director for Dutch FC, will be heading up the programing. The Coerver Performance Academy will be held on Friday evenings replacing the current Friday Night Skills, starting in September. Advanced, intermediate and beginner levels of training will be offered for a monthly or quarterly enrollment and will be limited to 60 spots to ensure quality attention and the immersive skills program is implemented effectively. Enrollment will open up in early August.

Ayman commented on the announcement: “I’m so excited about this opportunity with Coerver. Their experience, shared principles, and methodologies, are all what drive youth soccer forward around the world. This partnership will bring unmeasured growth and development opportunities for all of our athletes in the Dutch FC program. We are proud to align ourselves with such a legendary program!”

“We are so proud to become part of the Dutch Football Club as an elite member of our Partner club program which has many top-level clubs throughout the world. Our Founder, Wiel Coerver, would be proud to know that his teaching Method is now in Texas with a Dutch Football Club, we are excited to work alongside and start teaching with your players and staff in implementing your vision of Total Football.” ~ Said Rick Moss Director of Coerver Coaching Texas.

“One of the major advantages to this partnership is it benefits the entire club. Every coach in Dutch FC will receive coaching education by becoming a certified Coerver Licensed Coach as they obtain their Coerver Diploma I & II. This will equip and empower them to run effective training sessions the raises the level of skill and soccer IQ across the board. ~ mentioned Director of Coaching Dennis Genas.

Executive Director of Dutch FC, Wilco Ravestijn, commented: “This is such a natural fit and a no brainer. I’ve been sending my own two sons who play for Dutch FC to receive advanced skills training from trainers outside the club and now finally we can enroll them in the Performance Academy within the club. My two boys will be the first to enroll.”
