Miguel Magana's journey in soccer began at the age of 11 when he joined the Texans, a youth soccer club in Houston, Texas. He honed his skills there until the age of 13 before transitioning to the Chivas USA pre-academy, where he continued to develop as a player until he was 16.


At 16, Magana joined Texas United, another prominent club in Houston, where he played until he turned 18. During his time with Texas United, he showcased his talent and dedication to the sport.


Following his club and high school soccer career, Magana pursued higher education at TWU, where he studied physical education, demonstrating his commitment to sports both on and off the field. Upon completing his studies, he embarked on a coaching career at the young age of 22.


His coaching journey began with the North Texas Legends in the MPL and UPSL leagues. Under his guidance, the NTX Legends achieved remarkable success, finishing as runners-up in the MPL and boasting the best defensive record in the UPSL during his tenure as head coach.


Magana's coaching prowess continued to flourish, and at the age of 25, he joined Dutch FC, where he undoubtedly brought his expertise and passion for the game to further elevate the team's performance.


Throughout his career, Magana has demonstrated a deep understanding of the game, coupled with a strong commitment to developing players both on and off the field. His journey from player to coach reflects his unwavering dedication to the sport of soccer and his desire to inspire the next generation of athletes.
