Dutch FC Dues, Fees, and Costs
We're a non-profit, and we think the price of youth soccer has gotten out of hand. So we built the savings in: Select dues sit more than $1,000 a year below comparable clubs here, automatically, for every player. And we publish all three costs — dues, team fees, uniforms — because you shouldn't have to ask twice.

Cost breakdown
Dutch FC costs are divided into three categories: club dues, team fees, and uniforms. The breakdown below shows who sets each cost and what it covers.
| COST | WHO SETS IT | WHAT IT COVERS |
|---|---|---|
| Club dues | Dutch FC | Coaching, training sessions, facility and lighting expenses, club operations |
| Team fees | Your team's coach | League registration, referee costs, tournament entries, and other fees associated with the team. |
| Uniform | The uniform provider | Required playing and training kit, paid direct to the vendor |
THE SHORT VERSION
- Club dues are $2,650 per year for Select (U11+) or $840 per six-month season for Academy (U10 and younger).
- Team fees typically run $600–$900 for Select and $300–$400 per season for Academy.
- Uniforms are bought separately from the provider and run
$144–$443
depending on program, position, and whether your player already owns a club bag.
Personality & Speed
Personality and Speed are generally innate qualities but can both be positively influenced in the right environments. We encourage players to express their Personality with a winning mentality by improving their Work Ethic, Adaptability, Mental Toughness, Leadership, Focus, Confidence, Positivity, Coachability, Communication, Team-Work, Responsibility, Respect and Discipline. Speed is often thought of as only a physical part of the game, which it is, but it also consists of Technical Speed and Tactical Speed. A Slow Physical player can seem physically faster when they apply Technical and Tactical Speed.
Two programs, split by age
Dutch FC organizes youth teams into two program types. The season structure is different for each, and that difference matters more than the sticker price when you're planning a year.

Select club dues: $2,650 for the full year
Select is a 12-month, full-year commitment beginning July 1. A $500 registration fee is due at registration to secure your player's spot on the team.
That $500 is not an extra charge on top. It comes off the top of the $2,650 total, and the remaining balance is divided into eight monthly payments.
| STEP | AMOUNT |
|---|---|
| Total Select club dues | $2,650.00 |
| Registration fee, due at registration | – $500.00 |
| Remaining balance | $2,150.00 |
| Divided into 8 monthly payments | $268.75 / mo |
The final payment is due February 1. Families may also pay the remaining balance in full at any point rather than spreading it across the eight payments.
How to pay less
There is no separate discounted rate for paying Select dues in full — but you can still save. Card and online installment payments carry processing fees, which are added to every transaction. Paying the balance in a single payment by
Zelle avoids those fees entirely, so families who do this pay less overall.
IMPORTANT:
Zelle may only be used to pay club dues in full upfront. Do not use Zelle for partial club-dues payments, team fees, or uniform costs. Any incorrect or partial Zelle payment will be returned and a $10 administrative fee will apply. All other club-dues payments must be made through PlayMetrics, our club operations app.
Select club dues do not include team fees or uniforms. Both are covered further down this page.
Academy club dues: $840 per six-month season
Academy dues are $840 for the fall season (July–December) and $840 for the spring season (January–June). Each season is billed on its own.
| Payment option | Season total | Detail |
|---|---|---|
| Pay in full | $810.00 | Includes a $30 discount for paying the season up front |
| Pay monthly | $840.00 | Season total spread across monthly payments |
Please read this before you register
The Academy is a six-month commitment, not a month-to-month membership. Once a player joins an Academy team, the family is responsible for the full $840 season amount. Players cannot skip a month and pay less.
For example: if a player is on a team for the fall season but the family travels through July, the family still owes the full $840 for that season — not five months of it. Being on a team means the team is built around that player for all six months.
Only
new players joining mid-season receive a prorated amount.
Joining mid-season
If a new player joins a Dutch FC team partway through a season — Select or Academy — the club sets a prorated dues amount based on when they join. Prorating applies to new players only. Returning players and players already on a roster owe the full commitment amount.
Team fees are set by your team, not by the club
Team fees are set by each team's coach and team manager. They are not a club charge, and they are not the same across the club — because they depend on what your specific team actually does:
- Which league the team plays in — different leagues carry different registration costs
- Referee costs for that league
- Which tournaments the team enters — every team plays a different number
| Program | Typical team fees | Applies to |
|---|---|---|
| Select · U11 and older | $600 – $900 | Per year |
| Academy · U10 and younger | $300 – $400 | Per season — both fall and spring |
Academy team fees apply to both seasons. A fall Academy season typically carries a $300–$400 team fee, and the spring season typically carries a comparable one. In both cases the fee covers league registration, referee costs and tournament entries.
These ranges are typical, not guaranteed. Your team's coach or manager will confirm the exact fee for your team.

The kit, itemized to the cent
Uniforms are purchased separately and paid directly to the provider. Many clubs mark uniforms up significantly, or take a kickback from the provider as an extra revenue stream. We mark ours up by a few percent — enough to buy coaching gear, and nothing beyond that.
Here is every required item and what it costs. Game kit comes from
Soccer.com; practice gear and game-day sock sleeves come from
The Soccer Post.

How ordering works
You don't need to do anything to start the process. Once your player is registered with the club, your coach or team manager sends their details to our uniform coordinator.
1
Your coach or team manager submits your player's full name, email address and jersey number to the Club Uniform Coordinator.
2
The Coordinator adds your player to your team's roster in
Soccer.com.
3
Soccer.com emails you directly
with a link and instructions for ordering the game kit. Please wait for that email before trying to place an order.
4
Your team manager shares The Soccer Post link for practice gear, socks and game-day sock sleeves.
A few practical note
Jersey numbers are assigned and submitted by your coach or manager before ordering opens — talk to them, not the vendor, about your number.
No email after a day or two? Check spam and junk first, then contact your coach or manager to confirm the right email address was submitted.
Problems with an order? Soccer.com customer support is 800-950-1994. For practice gear or sock sleeves, contact The Soccer Post. For registration or jersey-number questions, contact your coach or team manager.

League registration, referees and tournament entries. Set by your team, $600–$900 for Select or $300–$400 per season for Academy.
— Uniforms and practice gear
Paid directly to Soccer.com and The Soccer Post. $144–$443 depending on program, position, and whether your player already owns a club bag.
— Cleats, shin guards, goalkeeper gloves and a ball
Personal equipment, bought wherever you like.
— Travel to tournaments
Hotels, fuel and meals when your team plays away. Varies by team and by how many out-of-area tournaments it enters.
— Optional extras
Camps, private or small-group skills training and spirit wear are all separate and entirely optional.
What is included
Coaching from USSF-licensed staff, all team training sessions, use of the club's own dedicated lit field complex at Fields of Faith, and club operations. Our Club Goalkeeper Program is free to Dutch FC keepers in the U11–U18 age groups.

Why Dutch FC costs less than comparable programs
Dutch FC Select club dues are more than $1,000 less per year than any comparable select program in the area. That is not a promotion, a trial rate, or something a family has to qualify for. It is simply what the club costs.
— The savings are built into the price
Dutch FC is a non-profit. No one draws profit out of the club, so every dollar a family pays goes back into coaching, player development, and the fields the players train on. The result is roughly $1,000 a year in value families would otherwise be paying for somewhere else.
— Lower cost is not a lesser program
Dutch FC families get Dutch-inspired player development, USSF-licensed coaching, and access to the club's own dedicated lit field complex at Fields of Faith. The savings come from the club's non-profit structure — not from cutting anything a player needs.
It works like a scholarship that's already applied
At most clubs, closing a $1,000 gap means applying for financial assistance, being approved, and hoping funds are still available. At Dutch FC that reduction is built into what every player pays — on every team, at every age group. No application, no approval, and no family singled out for it.
Put that $1,000 a year aside across eight playing years and it's a meaningful start on a college fund.
Camps, private or small-group skills training and spirit wear are all separate and entirely optional.

Five questions to ask any club before you write a check
Including us. If a club can't answer these in writing, that tells you something worth knowing.
— 1. What is the all-in cost for a full year, not just club dues?
Dues, team fees, uniform, and a realistic travel estimate. One number.
— 2. What exactly is not included?
A club that won't list its exclusions is planning to surprise you later.
— 3. How many players are on the roster, and what is my child's realistic playing time?
Roster size decides how much football your child actually gets. Ask for the number, not a reassurance.
— 4. How many training sessions per week, and who coaches them?
Ask for the licence level of the person actually on the field — not the director's.
— 5. What exactly am I committing to, and for how long?
Get the commitment length and the mid-season policy in writing before you sign. Ours is on this page: Select is 12 months from July 1, Academy is six months per season, and only new players joining mid-season are prorated.

How much does it cost to play at Dutch FC?
Families pay three separate costs: club dues, team fees, and uniforms. Select club dues (U11 and older) are $2,650 for the full year. Academy club dues (U10 and younger) are $840 per six-month season. Team fees typically run $600–$900 for Select and $300–$400 per season for Academy. Uniforms are purchased separately from the provider and run $144–$443 depending on program, position, and whether your player already owns a club bag.
Is there a registration fee?
Yes, for Select. A $500 registration fee is due at registration to secure your player's spot. It is not an extra charge — it is subtracted from the $2,650 total, leaving $2,150 to be paid across eight monthly payments.
How are Select payments broken up?
After the $500 registration fee comes off the $2,650 total, the remaining $2,150 is divided into eight monthly payments of $268.75. The final payment is due February 1.
Is there a discount for paying Select dues in full?
Not a separate discounted rate, no. Families save a different way: by avoiding card and online payment processing fees, which are added to every transaction. Paying the balance in a single payment by Zelle avoids those fees entirely, so families who do that pay less overall.
Is there a discount for paying Academy dues in full?
Yes. Academy families who pay a full season up front receive a $30 discount, bringing the season total to $810.
When does the Select year start?
July 1. It runs 12 months and is a full-year commitment, covering the fall season, the spring season, and tournaments before, between and after both.
Can my player take a month off from the Academy?
No. The Academy is a full six-month commitment, not a month-to-month membership. Families owe the full $840 season amount even if a player misses time for travel or other reasons — the team is built around that player for all six months. Only new players joining mid-season are prorated.
What happens if my player joins partway through the season?
We set a prorated club dues amount based on when they join. Prorating applies to new players only — returning players and players already on a roster owe the full commitment amount.
Why do team fees vary between teams?
Because each team plays in a different league and enters a different number of tournaments. League registration, referee costs and tournament entry fees all differ, so each team's coach and manager set that team's fee based on its actual schedule.
Do Academy families pay a team fee in the spring as well as the fall?
Yes. Academy team fees apply to both seasons. Each season typically carries a $300–$400 team fee covering league registration, referee costs and tournaments.
Are uniforms included in club dues?
No. Uniforms are purchased separately and paid directly to the provider — game kit through Soccer.com, practice gear and sock sleeves through The Soccer Post. Full itemized pricing is above.
Does Dutch FC offer scholarships?
The roughly $1,000 annual saving functions like a scholarship already applied to every player, on every team, with no application required. Families who need additional assistance beyond that should call 469.256.7200 to discuss available options.
Does a lower price mean a lower-quality program?
No. Dutch FC families receive Dutch-inspired player development, USSF-licensed coaching, and access to the club's own dedicated lit field complex at Fields of Faith. The lower cost comes from our non-profit structure, not from reducing what players receive.
Who do I contact about fees or payment plans?
Call 469.256.7200 or reach us through dutchfc.com for questions about club dues, payment plans, or financial assistance. For your specific team fee, contact your team's coach or team manager.
